The Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) offers a great short video of the features that they offer to sellers, buyers and their representatives. Your home is one of the over one hundred thousand homes listed for sale or rent. 

Help Present a Full Picture of Your Home

Have you carefully reviewed and checked your Multiple Listing Service (MLS) information? From the very beginning sellers should be alert to inaccuracies or omissions that may appear on the MLS. There are a number of areas that describe your home that only you can answer. Make sure that your Realtor© is aware of energy efficient upgrades you may have made, updates to the kitchen and floor coverings or upgrades such as the replacement of home systems such as the roof, water heaters, or air conditioning. Think about how much better a home description will sound if you let your Realtor© know that the wood floor is engineered Brazilian cherry rather than just hardwood laminate. Take a moment to go over the information on the MLS and inform your Broker© any inaccuracies that may appear on your home’s MLS. If you see an enhancement that is omitted be sure to include that also. Your MLS is a description for the sale of one of the most expensive investments that you have ever made. Take the time to review and make sure that description is complete and accurate.
