Second Stadium in Katy ISD Breaks Ground

Katy ISD will break ground this month on the second sports stadium. The goal is to have completed prior to the start of the 2017 football season. The second stadium will be located next to the existing Rhodes Stadium off of Franz Road. This stadium will hold up to 12,000 seats as compared to Rhodes at 9,800 seats. Does a second sports stadium mean that Katy Tigers will be going for their 9th state championship?!?!?
