FM 1093 Phase One contract awarded and set to begin next month according to Fulshear Mayor Thomas Kuykendall

Kuykendall posted on social media, "Congratulations and thanks to Precinct #3 Commissioner Andy Meyers, County Judge Bob Hebert and the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court for awarding the contract for Phase I of the FM 1093 expansion. Phase I will extend from SH 99 to FM 1463 as shown in the included graphic.

Webber, LLC was awarded the low bid of $63.8 million (10% under the engineer's estimate). Construction is slated to begin in February 2016."
