All the feels yesterday!!! Our first annual 'Kennedy Scholarship' was awarded to Tate Struble that graduated from Fulshear High School and just completed his first semester at Ole Miss with not only a 3.8 GPA but also pledging to ATO. The entry into the scholarship was for a graduating senior to write an essay over their experiences and best take-aways, lessons learned, memories made throughout high school and more importantly how the town/city played a role in these memories. We received over 30 entires and loved reading every single one of the kids memories and things that left a forever mark on them during their four years of high school.
There is nothing more I love than supporting my family, friends and community. I was so thrilled to present the scholarship check ( even though I forgot the BIG check I purchased for this photo LOL - that is a Monday friends). I will be announcing the next scholarship in March.
Best of luck Tate and all the students!!!
