How Do You Know Youre A Houstonian?

As I was scrolling through Twitter (not the most relaxing activity, but I digress), I found a link to this article from KPRC TV. 

When can a Houston transplant call themselves a true Houstonian? Here’s what locals say.

I have to admit, I thought I wasnt going to like the article because the title made me think it was going to be divisive. Turned out to be the total opposite! Credit to KPRC for making this fun. I laughed a lot.

My personal favorite responses included:

“When they talk smack about the city but get offended if anyone else does.” - Maggie

“Can they say Humble correctly?” - Mauri (this one is SO TRUE!)

“When we merge at the last possible second on 610 with no space thinking ‘today is a good day to die’” - Brett

“After 1 Hurricane, 396 traffic jams, 3 floods and 2 brothers tacos. Extra credit if you sit through an entire losing Texans season.” - Andrew (LOTS of people are going to get extra credit this Texans season!)
