Summa-Summa-Sum'Ma-Time!

We are in it; middle of summer! Hot, humid, and rainy. In all 36 years here in Houston, it has not changed, although it does seem to be hotter these days. How did you fare during Beryl? Luckily, the neighborhood I live in only experienced a short 30 hours of power outage and not many homes were damaged by the storm. 

On the buying side of the market, I am seeing more homes come online, change prices, and ultimately get to closing! That is good news for sellers and buyers alike. Interest rates are holding steady, we are hoping for a reduction by the Fed in the coming days. Affordability for everyone is still a bit of a pincher, including rent. The good news? More options. The more active listings, the more choices everyone has to consider! 

I am grateful to have sellers, buyers, and lease clients currently. It can be easy to get "stuck" in work mode; how are you all doing? What fills your summer days?
