SUMMER IS HERE! Im sure your A/C system, lawn if you have one, and water bill are all feeling the heat! Welcome to Houston, Texas where we feature air that you wear. If this is your first time here, we apologize in advance. It is 10:27AM on June 28, 2022 and on the northwest side of town, it is currently 86 degrees with a RealFeel of 99 degrees. You read that correctly. It is currently 64% humidity. I am sweating just typing this. Best news? It isnt even noon yet. The hottest part of the day is not yet upon us. Have you been looking for a home with a pool, maybe? If not, you should. Its a glorious addition to your home usually.

I often spent summer days riding my bike in the middle of the day, ALL DAY. I didnt come back into the air conditioning except to get something to drink and maybe a snack. And then I was gone. Riding everywhere. (couldnt be caught dead doing that now). This heat is a different heat than what I remember. I dont care what anyone says. HA!

A brief market update for you; after all, thats why youre here....I think? Interest rates have been on the rise as you will see and hear at every turn of the radio dial, or TV, or YouTube video. This will change affordability for some, but we are not anticipating any bubbles popping or anything similar. If you have been saving, keep saving! The extra funds may help you buy down your interest rate, helping with affordability. With summer vacations upon us as well, we are seeing a slight dip (and this depends on the area and home in question) with visits to homes. Gas prices having been at an extreme high for our region have been contributing to that as well. Dont worry; the right house will be there for you when youre ready for it. Try to stay cool. Stay hydrated. Take extra precautions if you will be outside during hotter times of the day; I have to do this because Im as pale as an Apple MagicMouse. I look like paper. HAHA! Thanks for stopping by to take a read.
