The best tater tots in the city come from Rudyard's. They've also got a great selection of beers, and a Comedy Club upstairs. A friend of mine told me she once sat at the bar chatting with a nice young man who used to be active in the Houston theater scene, including co-founding Infernal Bridegroom Productions. She'd never watched the Big Bang Theory and had no idea who Jim Parsons was! Bonus fact: Where did Rudyard's get its name? For the first few years, before moving to its present location in the 1980's, it was located on Kipling Street!
