What is in a short sale packet...do you know ?

I would like to touch on the short sale packet, I'm sure if you are thinking of doing a short sale you may of heard the phrase short sale packet and hopefully  you are working with a Realtor® who know's the in's and out's of a short sale. 

The short sale package is a collection of initial documents to begin the short sale  process, this is what I like to call  round one ,and then round two will consist of another set of documents once you have received an offer on your home. I will blog about round two in the next day or two. The short sale package will likely consist of the following; ("Round One")

• Letter of authorization, which lets your agent speak to the bank.
• HUD-1 or preliminary net sheet
• Completed financial statement
• Seller's hardship letter
• 2 years of tax returns
• 2 years of W-2s
• Recent payroll stubs
• Last 2 months of bank statements
• Comparative market analysis or list of recent comparable sales
