Visit Houston

Houston is an international hub - a metropolitan city with multiple gateways for people and goods to travel around the globe. Thousands of passengers travel through our Intercontinental and Hobby airports daily or using the bus depot downtown. Railways criss-cross our city just like the highways. Goods are exchanged through the ship channel. According to Bloomberg and the NY Times, we may see more travelers and visitors soon!

Houston was listed in their article, “20 Places to Visit in 2019”. March is mentioned as the prime time to visit citing the nicer weather and possibility of catching a Livestock Show and Rodeo concert. This March you might be lucky enough to catch Cardi B, Kings of Leon or the Zac Brown Band! The article also mentions entertainment venues to visit including NASA, which is undergoing retro-furbishment so it appears just as it did in 1969 during the Apollo mission, and updates to the Fine Arts and Holocaust Museums.

Shortly after the Bloomberg article, the NY Times also listed Houston, along with other international locals, as THE places to visit in 2019. According to both sources, Houston is a great destination for a gastronomic delight. We are home to several popular chain restaurants, with more being added all the time. We have a variety of food trucks and breweries, and now jumbo food courts Bravery Chef Hall and Finn Hall. Unlike the fast food courts at the mall, these eateries are staffed by top chefs serving on-trend, gourmet eats.  I've always said that you could eat out three times a day at a different eatery and never eat at the same place twice in a year, maybe years.

As Houston Culture Map says, “Unparalleled food scene, check...World-class cultural attractions, check!”
