Have you checked out Woodforest yet?

“Welcome to Woodforest, the fastest-growing master-planned community in Montgomery County” proclaims the homepage for this community nestled between the Woodlands and Lake Conroe.  Access to Interstate 45 is by the Fish Creek Thoroughfare, the first new major north/south thoroughfare in Montgomery County. The 3,000 acre development will house about 10,000 residents when completed.

Several homebuilders are represented including Chesmar, Lennar and Taylor Morrison. House styles include single family homes, patio homes and townhomes. A few customer build lots are also available. The final vision calls for over 4,000 homes and 400 apartment units.

Bonterra is a community within Woodforest that caters exclusively to the 55+ crowd. The community even boasts an event planner to organize community events, groups and outings. A community clubhouse with tennis, swimming and walking trails are among the amenities.

Pine Island is the newest addition to the community. Planned to be quiet and idealic, this neighborhood will be located on the Woodforest Golf Course. This area includes larger lots, a gated and secluded community and more elegant, upscale and romantic design will draw homebuyers in.

No community is complete without schools, churches and businesses. Woodforest is home to Conroe ISD Stewart Elementary and Montgomery ISD also serves the area. United Methodist Church has a campus in Woodforest. Pharmaceutical chain CVS was the first retail establishment to serve the area with more on the way.

Also one of the fastest selling communities, Woodforest ranked No. 2 on the list published recently by the Houston Business Journal. This is one of my favorite communities. Give me a call to tell you why I love it.
