One Listing for Every 1.67 Realtors: Why It's Never Been More Obvious Who's Doing the Work

That means, in theory, there aren’t even enough listings for every other agent to have one. In fact, if every single listing was evenly distributed (spoiler: it’s not), there would only be one listing for every 1.67 agents. Translation? A whole lot of Realtors are walking around with fancy headshots and no listings to show for it.

Now, I don’t say this to be mean, but to shine a light on the very real gap between agents who are actually moving the market—and those who just moved into real estate.

Our team alone is currently representing 35 listings. That’s more than some brokerages, let alone teams. We didn’t get here by accident. It took almost 20 years in the trenches, a deep understanding of Houston (born and raised, thank you very much), and building one of America’s top 1.5% ranked teams. And in this market, experience and strategy matter more than ever.

This isn’t about bragging. It’s about awareness.

If you’re a seller or buyer, ask yourself: Do you want an agent who knows the market, has the experience and is in it every day actually doing the business?

If you’re an agent wondering why your phone isn’t ringing, maybe it’s time to rethink how you’re building your business.  And maybe it's time you call me.  And remember...every top producer started somewhere. But the gap is widening fast between those doing the work and those just posting about it.

The good news? In this city, there’s still plenty of opportunity. But you have to be willing to work for it.
