TO ALL REALTORS AND REAL ESTATE AGENTS

I have been in real estate for almost 30 years and I was out touring homes with two sets of clients last weekend. It was a great day and we viewed many great homes. My clients viewed resales and new homes as well. My clients fell in love with a community and one builder! When we got ready to do the contract I viewed it and I asked the builder salesperson wheres the realtor commission section his reply was we no longer pay realtors commission! We work very hard in the real estate market these days and we earn our commission. Once I told my clients whats happening they were ready to go without questions. There were nothing posted up saying we dont pay realtors or real estate agents at this builder location. Im so happy was with my clients because the builder salesperson said nothing about the realtor commission not being paid. I know that we as realtors and real estate agents help builders sell 80% or more of their new homes! Some builders are still paying and my clients are aware that I must get paid for my hard work just like everyone should get paid for a service. I will not mention any name of companies or company at this time. Im sure they will feel us not touring their business in the near future and maybe oneday they will start back paying realtors and real estate agents commission? To all realtors and real estate agents please dont forget its all about our clients, but we must be paid for our real estate services we provide to our clients. We pay lots of real estate fees,dues and license renewal most of our clients never know about for our business. If theres any builders reading this we love bringing our clients to your new communities. We would love to keep doing business with all buiders, but we must get paid for our services without asking our clients to pay our commission! We do understand that its a sellers market but you still need our buying clients to complete the deals! Mr.CEO or to whom it may concern please rethink your choice and start back paying our commision. Im sure once you add it up! It has been a benefit for all builders for many years.
