The big night in Woodland Heights is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th this year. A Houston favorite, participants travel along a pedestrian-friendly route enjoying a variety of holiday-themed displays from twinkling lights to bright holiday scenes. You may even spot Santa Claus! Carolers, jazz bands, and other performers line the street to entertain their neighbors, and restaurants like Sonoma Wine Bar & Restaurant often host special festivities inside their establishments. Since parking will be difficult, its recommended that distant party-goers use a ride-share service like Uber to attend.
Magical Winter Lights is an enchanting 52-day lantern festival that runs from November 15 through January 5 this year. Visitors can count on a multitude of themed lanterns, nightly acrobatic performances, carnival rides and games, a dinosaur fun zone, and much more. As a larger-than-life multicultural show and the largest lantern festival of its kind in the U.S., its often considered a must-attend event.
