Welcome back! So far we have covered amenities and the Village of Creekside Park, and we will continue with Sterling Ridge this week.

After The Woodlands had been around for 25 years, a new village was needed in order to accomodate growth. In 1999, the Village of Sterling Ridge was developed. Sterling Ridge is in the west part of The Woodlands and includes Carlton Woods and the Gary Play golf course.

There are over 2,500 homes and has 18 parks for residents to enjoy. Students in the village will find Deretchin elementary, Coulson Tough, and the ninth grade campus of The Woodlands High School.

For those residents who enjoy researching, reading, or looking through old books, the George P. Mitchell Library calls Sterling Ridge home.

For your fitness needs, there is the newer YMCA building just down the road! They provide cardio equipment, weight machines, free weights, swimming pools, classes, and organized sports teams. Finding your new fitness routine is easy here!

The 18 parks provide plenty of outdoor entertainment options as well! There is a skate park for practicing new tricks. Even Fido can enjoy the "Bark Park"  on Terramont.

Sterling Ridge is also home to the new Trader Joe's! When driving through Sterling Ridge, enjoy the wooded streets, modern shopping options, and stop by a park on a warm snny day!

Happy Monday ya'll!

Amanda
