Welcome To The Woodlands: Creekside Village

Welcome back y'all!

Last week we mentioned that The Woodlands has 9 villages. This week, our focus will be Creekside Park Village. This is the newest village of The Woodlands located between Gosling and Kuykendahl south of Woodlands Parkway, and North of FM 2920. It is currently home to over 3,000 families and soon to be 6,000 families. 

This Village like all other Woodlands Villages provides residents with a grocery store, and soon "Creekside Village Green", a shopping center.  Creekside Village Green will eventually provide a tree lined park and water feature, restraunt, retail and office buildings. 

Rob Fleming Park is a great outdoor space for everyone. There are easter egg hunts, art festivals and even an arbor day event. Great place to spend a sunny afternoon! Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is perfect for a cool down during hot Texas summers. You can find a lazy river, plunge pool and refreshment lounge. It is located near Lake Paloma!

Looking for even more beautiful greenery? The 1,700 acre George Mitchell Preserve calls Creekside Park home too!

Creekside also offers community events like a chili cook off, village meetings, and neighborhood watch get togethers, you'll find a sense of community in Creekside Park. As mentioned last week, there are many things to do. There are 79 acres of lakes, the Fazio Golf Course and fishing, basketball, tennis courts, pinic tables, BBQ's, and rain garden too! 

Creekside Park is located in Tomball School District. As of the 2014-2015 school year, stundents in the village may attend Creekside Forest K-6 elementary or Timber Forest K-6 Elementary followed by Tomball Junior High and High School. There are also 2 private schools, The Woodlands Prepatory Academy and Cunae International School. For more information, check out the school website to confirm. 

Another great feature of this village is the wide variety of housing. There are apartment complexes, and single family homes ranging from the mid $200K's to Millions. You'll be able to find your home sweet home among these properties. Creekside is still completing construction, so you'll get to witness some of The Woodlands growth!
