Surfside Beach Area Market
What this means to the Surfside Beach, TX market cannot be understated. The past 3 years have seen sales slowing down in our second home/investment home market.
Interest rates began rising in March 2022 and rose 5 points until June 2023.
Last year, sales were coming back in May, but in June there was a tropical storm and in July there was a hurricane that not only kept buyers from looking in the area, but Houston was hurt as well. Over 1/2 our buyers are from the Houston area.
In 2025, we saw an increase in sales in June (7) and July (9) , with average sales $378,000.
