Many PEARLAND homeowners could see flood insurance discounts!

Pearland residents are in line to have a pleasant surprise when they renew their flood insurance — some could see a discount of as much as 20 percent.

This is great news! We hardly ever see a discount in insurance premiums! Why on Earth do Pearland residents get a discount though? Did that city get picked like winning a lottery ticket? Did they win a contest? Why yes...they did! They won a rating contest.
