Late 19th century Queen Anne cottage in Houston’s First Ward. Taken down to the studs about 10 years ago by Four Square Design Studio, this cute cottage has been used as their business since that time. Needs some TLC and cosmetic updating. Kitchen is minimalist with no dish washer. When the remodel was done, the beautiful 5” plank original heart pine floors were restored, and original wainscoting, which was hidden below shabby drywall, was removed, sanded, cleaned and re-installed. "Our intention was to restore the house as authentically as possible, while treating the decoration of the interior in a clean and modern way." Artwork in hall by Laura Michaelides.
