How To Get To The Rodeo

Rodeo Season is quickly approaching! The cook-off and Rodeo Run are happening next weekend (Cook-off Thursday, February 27-Saturday, February 29 and Rodeo Run on Saturday, February 29) with the concerts and all the festivities kicking off March 3 through March 22. Are you as excited as I am? With rodeo season, brings traffic around NRG Park. You may be wondering which way is the best way to travel to see your fave performer. Here are some options for you to consider. When in doubt, refer to the official Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo website!

However you decide to travel to this year's rodeo festivities, have fun and be safe!!

Drop Off

Passenger Drop-off at Gate 9 off Kirby

Uber & Lyft Ride Sharing

Drop-offs and pick-ups are in the Miller Lite Yellow Lot 38

Trams

Trams are run by committee members, offering transportation assistance from various lots to and from NRG Park and around the Rodeo grounds

    • Blue Line – services NRG Stadium, NRG Arena and the Blue Lot
      9AM to midnight
    • Orange Line – services NRG Center and NRG Arena
      9AM to midnight
    • Red Line – services NRG Center and the Red Lot
      8AM to midnight
    • Pink Line – services NRG Park and 610 Lot
      10AM to midnight
      • Yellow Line – services the north side of NRG Stadium and the Yellow Lot
        9AM to midnight

Park & Ride/Metro Bus

  • The shuttles drop off at NRG Center or NRG Arena located on the park grounds
  • Free to park at all lots, except for OST 1. Costs vary between shuttle

      Maxey Road, Monroe Park & Rides and West Loop Transit Center: $4.00
      North Shepherd Park & Ride: $6.50 Kids 5 and Under FREE

  • Monday through Saturday: until 1:40AM
  • Sunday: until 11:20PM

Southbound Service

  • Monday through Saturday: 3:25AM
  • Sunday: until 1:15AM
