Pantone Color of the Year - Robert Griffith

Pantone Color of the Year

Pantone Color of the Year

Every year, Pantone selects a new Color of the Year! You’ll start to notice this shade trending throughout fashion, baby accessories, weddings and events, and of course, real estate and interior design! For 2020, the winner is “PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, a deep blue shade that’s at once comforting and relatable” according to Pantone! Personally, I think it’s a great choice!

In regards to real estate and interior design trends, the Classic Blue is one that you can easily incorporate into your current look. With recent years using the color schemes of grey and white, blue mixes nicely into your existing decor. Even if you’ve chosen a different color scheme for your house (creams and tans or possibly brighter pops of color) you can pair Classic Blue with a lot!

I’ve included some fun ways you can incorporate the Color of the Year into your home without having to break the bank!!

·     Paint your front door!! It’s the first thing guests are greeted with, so it’s always welcoming to have your front door looking clean and fresh!

·     Not up for a paint job? Add a beautiful wreath! Here are a few links via Etsy to some lovely options:

·     Kitchen Appliances! I know you’ve had your eye on a new tool for your kitchen for that delicious recipe you’ve been dying to try or the dinner party you’re throwing next month. Adding a new appliance, like a mixer, will add that pop of blue into your kitchen and be the motivation you need to get cooking! Below is the link to a great KitchenAid in blue:

·     Wanting a bigger kitchen project? Add a backsplash in the Classic Blue color!! That will really catch your guests’ eyes!

·     Looking for a statement piece? Invest in a new couch or loveseat in this beautiful shade! It’ll be the centerpiece of your living space! LoveSac has multiple blues in various fabric options to choose from:
