Trick or Treating

Halloween Safety Tips   Halloween is such a fun holiday!! Candy, costumes, cooler weather…what’s not to like?! However, we all need to make sure to enjoy this holiday safely, especially if you have children. Here are a few tips and tricks to make trick or treating safe and fun!!  

Trick or Treating – Cross the street at corners and look before you cross! Make sure to put those electronic devices away and pay attention to traffic. Take pictures when you’re safely across the street! Trick or Treat in groups, especially if you’re going after dark. It’s also a great idea to carry a flashlight or wear reflective tape – bonus if you can incorporate with your costumes!! Masks make costumes extra cute, however can make it harder for kids to see. Opt for face paint if possible! If you’re not participating in trick or treating, however are planning to be out and about, make sure to drive slowly, pay attention for little ones and keep headlights on. Leave early for your destination so you’re not rushing!   However you choose to celebrate Halloween, I hope it’s a fun and safe day!!
