Hope everyone is staying cool!

Im not a professional blogger, but after this I might be getting close.

When you decide to buy a mobile/manufactured home and you need land to place it on, the search begins if you dont have family land to put it on.

Normally the sales person at the dealer will have you contact a Realtor that is familiar with the land/home package.  I have been handling these requests for over 24 years.  We search for the pricing and amount of land that you require.  Sometimes we can find the land with improvements but mostly it is just vacant land with no improvements.

Most counties require 1.5 acres if you will need a well and septic.  Most counties also require an aerobic system.  Some counties will have a list in the Environmental or Permit sections of the website, ie https://www.grimescountytexas.gov/page/Permits

Make sure if you sign a Buyers Representation Agreement that your Realtor does the digging for all the information that you, the sales person and your lender will need for restrictions, what water is available, what type of septic system is needed or if there is public water (can also be subdivision water and sewer) and public sewer.

Well, off to show land and homes.

Have great day and stay hydrated!

I've been a licensed Realtor in Texas since 1997. I love being a Realtor. Mobile/Manufactured homes are a different type of sales. I am here to help. I also list land/homes and represent buyers.
