Pearland City Council on Monday voted 2-3, with only Steve Saboe and Woody Owens voting in favor of approval, to deny award of a bid in the construction of the Old Townsite Western Gateway.

The city council voted to approve the issuance of water and sewer system revenue refunding bonds.  The bonds will fund projects to improve the city's water and wastewater facilities.

The city council voted to authorize a contract with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce for marketing and business retention services.

The city council voted to authorize a contract with Brazoria County to participate in providing an interim public library at the Westside Events Center.

The city council voted to authorize continued participation in the Victims Assistance Grant Program.  The program is provided through the Texas Attorney General's Office.

The city council voted to approve a salary adjustment for City Attorney Darrin Coker.  The item, an annual evaluation of Coker, was discussed during an executive session.

All other items were approved by majority vote will all members present.  Agenda
