Yes, as a Realtor, we are all required to take the same classes and have the same amount of continuing education in order to practice.  But, like any Professional, that doesn't mean that every Realtor is the right fit for you.

Some Realtors may take the classes, but not retain any of the knowledge.  Some Realtors are unethical ( Ouch, but it is true). Some Realtor's personality may not mesh with your's.

When picking any professional, whether it is a Realtor, Doctor, Lawyer, Child Care Provider, etc...., you need to go with your gut and do your research.

A good place to start would be on this platform, HAR.com.  Most of us have reviews on here from REAL Clients and other information that might help you get to know us better.

Another place to check would be with your peers.  Have they used a Realtor? What was their experience like?

Once you have found a Realtor, you could still run into a problem of "not being on the same page".  They might have the experience you are looking for, but maybe your personalities clash?

It happens.  This is the biggest purchase you will make, so make it the best experience you can.  It is "ok" to fire your Realtor if you are just not clicking.  That doesn't mean to fire them because you're "getting a better deal or found a relative/friend that is a Realtor.

But, if you're honestly not clicking or if you feel like they don't have your best interest in mind, then by all means, fire them.  The sooner the better though.  You don't want to have them showing you 20 houses and then you think they're not a fit, I don't think anyone would want their time wasted.

I could go on and on about picking the right Realtor for the job.  I believe, when you meet them, you will know if they're right for you.

I love interacting and helping, so if you have any questions....please ask.
