Sales Activity

Another really strong month for Greater Heights based on the number of homes sold in June.  140 homes sold in June, which is up 10 from the month of May.  On top of the 140 homes sold,  84 homes went Option Pending in June.   The average days on market for homes sold in June was 61 days.  The market in the Heights continues to be very strong.  No doubt helped along by all of the great retail and restaurants that is flooding the area.  Places like Down HouseLiberty KitchenRevival Market, and a host of other great restaurants along White Oak Blvd are really having a positive impact on the quality of life in the area.

Active Listings

Inventory levels in the Heights currently stands at 328 total homes active on the market and 138 new listings came on the market in the month of June.  296 of the homes currently on the market are single family homes and 32 are townhomes or condos.

Home Prices

The average price for properties sold over the past 12 months (ending in June 2012) was $363,837.  That’s up 5% from the previous 12 month period (ending June 2011).  With that kind of growth, the Heights is definitely one of the stronger markets in Houston.
