You would think he more people that live under the same roof the higher the energy costs. One advantage of the multigenerational home is that utility costs can often be devidied amongts the adults, lowering the burden. But who doesn't want lower energy bills?   Your multigen living arrangement can also be a green living arrangement. Sure everyone has a couple of devices charging in various areas around the house and grandma will fall alseep with the television on, sucking energy non-stop. Not to mention the desperate need to constantly have the  A/C on in Houston's crazy hot summers.  We all know the A/C is the biggest energy vamp with the sharpest fangs.  There are some things that can be done to minimize costs.
