Not literally powder andlipstick! I was using the analogy to say some ladies do not have to have a extreme makeover to look nice, some JUST put on powder and lipstick and look great just like homes. The lipstick I buy at Walgreens look just as good as the $25 dollar lipstick at the mall.
Some sellers overdo their improvements and get the sad face when buyers decide to purchase the home up the street $15,000 less and do their own improvements.It is a nice gesturebut remember look at your subdivision and what the homes are selling for.
*You may not need granite countertops maybe tile or upgraded laminate (cheaper) would do the job. *You may not need to hire a professional landscaper when Home Depot offer free classes. You may just need mulch and some evergreens and a sprinkler to keep them watered. * You may not need to hire a professional painter, do it yourself or have a paint party with some friends and offer converstions, pizza, and Root BEER. ;-) *You may not need a new stove or dishwasher (just a good cleaning and make sure they match) now if knobs are missing and it is light green or bright yellow -old school-, that may be an issue. ;-d ***If you have a comment on what you did or are doing to save money and get the same look, please comment.
