Most active price ranges in Montgomery County for May 2019

There is good news for Montgomery County homeowners - not only are home sales and median prices up, but certain price ranges in Montgomery County saw significant increases in sales activity above 10 percent over last year. Here are the latest figures from the HAR MLS (Multiple Listing Service) with the most active price ranges:

-- $350,000 to $400,000 price range saw total sales jump 27.78 percent, from 72 homes last May to 92 homes sold May 2019.

-- Homes in the $700,000 to $800,000 price ranges saw total sales increase 17.39 percent, from 23 to 27 in May 2019

-- Home sales in the $1,000,000-plus price range jumped 11.76 percent, from 17 homes last May to 19 this May.

-- Home sales in the $250,000 to $300,000 price range grew 10.32 percent, growing from 154 homes sold last May to 171 this May.
