I felt particularly unsure of my situation, since I am relocating from an area whose cost of living is considerably different than that in the Sugar Land area. When I first telephoned Val, I was only wishing I could be able to afford the little dream home on First Street. As a realtor, Val is very competent. With every question or concern I raised, she immediately either reassured me or kindly corrected my misperceptions. I was especially impressed with the interaction Val facilitated between my new landlady and me. Val is especially skilled in this capacity, asking leading questions to ensure that the conversation was between the two of us (as renter and landlady). She was also reassuring in pointing out little areas that would be taken care of between our signing and my actual move. Val is knowledgeable about the area and knows not only the neighborhood but also the parks and points of interest.
