I love and sell old homes. The Heights with it's old Victorian and Craftsman style homes are my favorite, but there are a lot of cool old neighborhoods surrounding it. Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, Timbergrove Manor. A little further West is Spring Branch. East is the "Hidden Jewel" of Lindale Park.
I live in Woodland Heights in a 1909 house that my kids and I remodeled. These old homes have a character, warmth and quirks not found anywhere else.
If you are looking for a new home you have many close-in areas to pick from: The Heights, Cottage Grove, Shady Acres, Oak Forest have lots of new homes. Styles and price vary by neighborhood.
The "My Neighborhoods" section shows areas I love and show everyday. Call or email to chat. I'm happy to help in any way...Rich
I have a couple of blogs on the Heights and surrounding old neighborhoods such as Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, Timbergrove, Lindale Park.
Heights Real Estate Blog
This is not a touchy-feely blog. I am an analytical person (degree in chemistry...I can't help it ;-))and so is my blog. Neighborhood descriptions, history, sales info, etc.
I do a lot of sales in Heights Historic Districts too. If you are considering buying or remodeling in a historic district Click Here to get find out about the multiple Heights historic districts.
I do have another Heights Website:
Twisted Heights is just being developed, but gives a different insight into what's happening here in the Heights.
