As a Texas licensed agent you have the right to list properties anywhere in the state. Please make sure the owner is aware that marketing maybe limited if you are not a member of the local MLS.
Hey Robert! Dori and Stephen gave great advice. If you refer your listing out we have forms for Brokers to agree on the percentage you want as a referral. Being licensed in Texas we get everything in Texas.
Everything Dori said is correct. I sold a home up near Austin last year and contacted some agents in the area and asked them to check the listing on HAR. I also had curbside flyers. Most agents you speak with will ask if you'd like to refer out the listing and that's something you might consider. Best of luck!
As a licensed Texas real estate agent you can do business anywhere in Texas. Though your broker will need to be a member of the local MLS to list the property on their local MLS system such as HAR.com.
