Greetings, an appraiser or company can be found via an internet search. A licensed Realtor may be able to provide you with a free property valuation. I would be happy to provide a Free CMA (Comparative market analysis) upon request.

Determining value of a home can indeed be accomplished by a licensed appraiser. Google can assist with finding certain licensed professionals in certain zip codes. Texas Real Estate Commission also will have the best source of links for licensed professionals. If you are needing to determine this value to place your home on the market for sale, then the services of a realtor may be what you are needing. Also, in certain instances, if an official appraisal is not required, a licensed real estate broker may be able to compose for you an opinion of value called a (BPO) , a broker price opinion may work for you as well.

Reach out to your preferred lender as they can assist in ordering one on your behalf.

Try contacting a lender that your broker works with or one that you work well with. You can find a couple of companies online.

You have several options:
1. A Real Estate agent can put together a Cost Comparative Analysis (Similar homes in your area that have sold in the last 6 months)
2. Your lender can do this for you
3. Licensed Home Appraiser (Texas Real Estate Commission has the best source of links for licensed professionals
4. Broker Price Option ( BPO)
Good Luck!

You can look on line, ask your lender or your broker that you work well with. Just keep in mind most lenders work with a preferred list of appraisers.

If you want to know home value, you may not need an appraiser. A qualified realtor can give you a very accurate range. If you believe you still need an appraiser, message me and I am happy to give you a list I've used to choose from.
