I know others have said it already, but welcome to this wonderful world of Real Estate!!! I agree with what others have said about resources and would like to add YOU can be your own walking advertisement. May sound corny, but I purchased a few T-shirts that were in my brand colors, then used my Cricut machine to make real estate statements like "This girl sells real estate, got referrals" or something along those line LOL and wear them when I go out. Even if you just get a smile or chuckle from someone, that may open the door to give them your card. Also, join groups on Meetup or school groups. Even if you don't have children in school, you can still support your local school and may become their go to Realtor because they will "know" you.

To generate leads, you have to put in work. Many people before have mentioned networking, etc.

You have to NOT be a SECRET agent. If you are a secret agent, that means no one knows you are an agent. They will find someone else.

One way I generate leads is by referrals from family, friends, clubs, etc.

I've stood in a retail shop waiting and talked to people next to me and have gotten leads. You can try looking at FSBO(For sale by owner) to capture their leads. You can work with your broker and do phone duty--people who drive by the 'for sale or for lease' sign will call your broker's listings.

personal experience and reading other peoples responses inspired it.

Network, Network and more Networking. Then ask your sphere of influence for business. You can build up to having referrals and word of mouth referring. Leads can also be purchased from multiple sources. Hand out business cards daily. Develop an email campaign. Use social media. Find a niche. Do floor duty. Make cold calls. Research fsbo's and expired listings. Partner with referral based programs. Attend home and down payment related events. Host a home buying seminar. Do open houses for other realtors until you get your own listings. Help a few agencies with volunteering and meet new people. Ask for the business.

Congratulation!
Welcome to the Real Estate world! I have found that my friends, family and organizations have been quite a treasure. You can also buy leads on websites such as Zillow try google as well. There are tons of sources out on the web and don't be afraid to ask your Broker for guidance. Blessing on you!

We provide leads for our agents. We also have a concierge that does the cold calling as well. Once the lead is prequalified, then, they are handed over to our agents. The list is a round robin and each agent has an equal opportunity to claim the lead. Once claimed, the concierge takes over and does the calling, texting, emailing.

There are a million ways to get your own leads. If your broker isn't helping you with this, you may need to consider a new brokerage.

Thats the $64million question. Do you have a broker? If not, I would be interested in discussing the issue with you.

I would suggest taking the Realtor Launch class or the Platinum Lead Generation class!

First of all I would like to congratulate you on becoming a new agent. The way I generate leads is I call 5 people in my phone contacts, Then I wear my name tag and head to the grocery store that I frequent every week, I stay there until I have given 5 cards out, Then I would text or message five more people. Just have a conversation with them, if real estate comes up great if not no worries, just check in with them and see how they are doing. It will take some time reconnecting but it works. I have been in about 9 months and I am working with some clients now and it is great. You have to be consistent and intentional. You got this.

Mixers(you can find those on meet up, it's not just for singles), open houses, LinkedIn, Facebook marketplace and hook-up with a title company that will offer great advertising swag. More often than not it's a mutual connection. Good luck.

Door hangers, Facebook or Instagram adds, call old friends you haven’t spoken to and just see how they’re doing and make it known you’re now a realtor, and if they know anyone looking to buy or sale to send them your way, or old fashion cold calling.

Start with your personal contacts such as friends, family, past co-workers, etc. Simply asking them if they know anyone who might be interested can help get you a lead.

It also helps to figure out your own strengths and weaknesses in order to determine the best way for you to approach people - whatever feels most natural to you is a good place to start.

I recently completed the Realtor Launch course, and that answered a lot of questions for me as a fellow new agent.

Congratulations & welcome to the world of Real Estate! My suggestions for you include working your sphere of influence those that know, like and trust you. Let everybody know what you are doing now via social media m, email, phone calls and/or text. You can also do your own Facebook adds at an affordable price instead of paying others to do it. Plus I would suggest going to networking events with other agents. The Houston Black Real Estate Association is a great organization to be a part of to start networking and doing things in the community also. Contact me for a referral to join at sharealty1@gmail.com. Your Broker should have some great ideas for you as well. Much success to you in your new career!

Congratulations on being a new agent. The first place to start is your phone contacts. You might be surprised. That is how I got my first lead and sale.

Congratulations! Welcome to one of the most rewarding careers. There are many ways to generate leads.
Some agents pay a third-party company to provide monthly prospects. Not all leads are equal, and it's an
art to manage and convert them. Your social circle and relationship building over time will yield some referrals.
Social medial advertising is popular; it can be affordable if planned effectively.
It's an array of opportunities to generate leads. You can also referral network with agents.
Feel free to contact me. I have some leads I can refer to help you get started.
Finally, get with your broker or office manager and ask for help. I'm sure they will be happy to
support your efforts.

All the best, Joe Ann Green
