Unfortunate to hear of your loss of monies due to trying to secure a place to live. The services of a real estate agent can help you. Perhaps an agent can check what the listed requirements are for you prior to having to pay all these application fees with the knowledge of a landlords preset criteria so to speak.

Oh no. This is horrible. You need a realtor to help you SAVE MONEY. I work with clients with a not so spotless past all the time. The secret is DISCLOSURE. Realtors and landlords don't like surprises. If you don't have a realtor, please call me. 713-291-5270. I will guarantee no more lost money on app fees. You may have to pay a higher security deposit, but we can get you in for sure.
I'm sorry to hear this. Your best bet is to work with a realtor. Working with a realtor will give you some credibility when working with a landlord/listing agent. It won't cost you anything since landlords pay the realtor fees when a realtor brings them a tenant.
