Investments in general or properties as investments?
Properties historically have been a popular investment with the idea that eventually it will be paid off, then just earn income.
Other investments are outside of my scope of expertise. :)

Would be happy to assist you but need more clarification on exactly what information you are seeking. Investment in residential property is different from commercial property. There are courses offered on topics such as foreclosures, short sale and rentals. Taking one of these courses may aide you in having a better understanding of how to prepare with one of these transactions.

Real estate investors are often looking for foreclosures or short sales, thinking they will get a good price, but there is lots to know about these types of sales. It's a good idea to be well informed with formal training or mentorship on your first few.

Not sure what you're asking is the question for you or a client? If it's for you please take a few real estate courses that cover investments. Please take the class before you try to help any of your clients. Always think smart and keep your clients coming back to you for many years!
