I just relocated to houston and have experience in residential property management. It has been suggested to me that Champions School of Real Estate has a good program and staff. Any suggestions or feedback about this school?
I agree, you can't beat Champions in terms of resources. Once you have your certificate, you need a broker sponsor and other things to set you on your way. The counselors at Champions School are the experts. You can learn Real Estate anywhere but for the "what's next?" I am glad I started with Champions. I passed first time and by the time I had my certificate, was able to hit the ground running!
So, I know this question was asked several years ago, but just in case any newcomers find this, I highly recommend getting your license through AceableAgent. They are pretty new, but they're soooo good. Because they're newer, their courses are way more modern and have a lot of features to help you learn and study. The material is gonna be pretty dense no matter what school you go to, so having those extra features really go a long way. It's also a lot cheaper than other schools like Champions.
Hi Jon, while I do not have experience with Champion School of Real Estate, I can recommend "Train Agents". I recently completed their online course for Texas and it was a breeze. Passed the test first time.
Also after much research I found them to be the cheapest option.
Here is a link to their Texas course: http://www.trainagents.com/Home.aspx?pgid=12639b52-3fd3-4115-be4e-ae06d1e15ff2&ag=2
Congratulation for joining us. I wish you success in your business. I did my Real Estate training online "http://www.learntexasrealestateonline.com". I was satisfied with them and passed all my exams once. Saying that some of the real estate companies might sponsor full or partially your real estate education. It would be worth to research before enrolling to any classes. My brokerage has such a program. You can contact me to get information regarding that.
I think Champions School of Real Estate is a great school!! Getting your real estate license can be an overwhelming task, but CSRE has a knowledgeable and friendly staff and instructors that can walk you through the process. Plus there are several ways to take your classes (classroom, online, correspondence). If you take the classes either online or by correspondence, I would recommend taking the exam prep class in the classroom at one of the CSRE locations. Come talk to me at Century 21 Ross Group anytime. Best of luck to you!!

Champions is a very good school and I have taken many classes there. I recommend taking classes in person because you will learn from the other students' questions, feedback and general discussion in the classroom than just studying on your own on a computer. Best of luck!
I took all my initial classes through Champions and was very satisfied with the classes. Only one of mine was a correspondence course. Everyone learns in a different way, classroom was the way to go for me. I would suggest taking the Test Prep class before taking the exam. Good Luck! If you have any questions along the way feel free to contact me.
Congratulations on your decision to become a real estate agent! Houston is a great place to live and to sell real estate. I also did Champions School of Real Estate and highly recommend them. If you take the Exam Prep Class and learn their flash cards you will do well on your exams. If you have any questions about the various brokers in the area I would be glad to help you. My number is 832-285-2865. Good luck!
I initially attended Kaplan and since have attended MCE at Champions. I am a true believer of the classroom experience and would encourage you to attend classroom learning vs. Online courses. All in all, it's what you put into it that measures your success. I'm sure you'll do well.
I did all mine through Champions as online correspondence. I was able to complete everything as quickly as I wanted to, complete all homework and exams online in the comfort of my home. You are able to stop and save your work as needed. You get your results immediately and move to the next course.
After you complete your course work you'll register to take the state exam. I had to wait a little over a week to get the location closest to me at the time I preferred. I was able to sign up for my fingerprinting at the same location, same day. You'll get your exam results immediately and then everything gets submitted to TREC for licensing!
Shoot me an email if you have any questions along the way! ;)
Absolutely, Champions School of RE is the school to go to! There is also Texas Realtor University which is also excellent. http://www.texasrealtorsuniversity.com/license.cfm
