Hi Noah. Get in touch with an agent who knows the area you're trying to lease. Make sure the landlord provides you with a Tenant Selection Criteria so you know what the landlord is basing his decision on. If there is anything on there that you're not able to meet, go ahead and save your application fee for another home. If this is the home you really want, the agent maybe able to talk to the landlord to see if they can work something out.

I'd go ahead and complete a lease application and have your driver license, at least 30 days pay check stubs ready to go. This way, if you find a home, you and your agent can quickly submit an application and minimize your chance of missing on the home. Hope you find your next home soon.

I would love to help if you are looking in the Friendswood, League City, Pearland areas. Choose a Realtor® that knows the area you are wanting to be in. Best of luck!!

Hi Noah,
The basic criteria for rental will be that you make 3x rent in income it is pretty standard.
An agent in my office will be able to help you, send me an email at francois@cozy-homes.com and we will find a rental for you.

Hi Noah,

Your best bet is going to be contacting a REALTOR who represents tenants in the area you are looking to live.

If you comment with the area of town you are looking to move to, I'm sure there will be REALTORS on here that will comment they work that area. I'm glad that you see the value in having a REALTOR represent you and your best interests!

You can also go to HAR.com and hover over "Agents" at the top right of the homepage and then click "Find a Real Estate Agent." You can type in the zip code you are looking in. I suggest clicking "more filters" to filter your search as well as click the box "Display Agents with Rating." Accredited Buyer Representative is a good one when you are looking to lease or purchase a property, as is Graduate REALTOR Institute (along with many other designations).

Happy House Hunting!
