Where can I find a mentor or a mentorship program in the Houston area?

Finding the right brokerage is key. Surround yourself with productive people who have experience and the desire to teach others. Don't be afraid to interview a few brokerages and ASK QUESTIONS. You are paying them at the end of the day so make sure it's a great fit. I chose my brokerage because of the high production and investment opportunities that it offered. We are now ranked #9 out of over 32,000 realtors and there are two other top 25 teams within our company. It's like a giant family. Let me know if you ever have any questions, I would love to help. Putting yourself in a position of education is key! Our brokerage has weekly training plus a customized business plan for each agent. There is also plenty of people to talk to with the many questions new agents have and agent support from the broker directly. Find a company that you feel excited to go to every day!

Crystal, I would seek out your broker for advice and training. That is normally their role. They should be able to mentor you or pair you up with a more experienced agent in your office to mentor you. Good Luck!
