Mike Schwettmann, a native Houstonian, is familiar with many neighborhoods in the greater Houston area. He has seen the city develop over the years during both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ economic cycles. Mike is a graduate of strake Jesuit High School and the University of Houston. Prior to his involvement in real estate, Mike was the vice-president of a local retail company for 25 years. He believes the many skills necessary for a successful retailer are equally as valuable as a realtor. Interpersonal relationships, defining customer needs, l customer service, attention to detail, prompt follow-up, communication, and organization are just a few of many attributes that mike brings to the client/realtor relationship.
After retirement from a long term successful career; mike felt that he could not stay at home, and wanted to become an integral part of an industry where he could use his valuable years of experience. Greenwood King was the obvious choice. Mike believes that the major selling points of Greenwood King are 1) Greenwood King is a Houston based, privately owned company with available “hands on” owners. 2) Greenwood King specializes in specific areas of the greater Houston area in which they have become experts. 3) Greenwood King always ranks at or near the top in sales among all the realtors working in their areas of expertise. 4) Greenwood King emphasizes the highest level of customer service. He feels the process of buying or selling a home can be stressful to anyone’s life; and his priority is to gain the trust of his client, and make the process as effortless as possible.
When mike is not actively working with his clients, he enjoys down time with his friends, working out at the downtown Y.M.C.A., and traveling as much as possible. His basic philosophy is to keep a positive attitude, and treat people as he would want to be treated.
