Matthew Summerour

Matthew Summerour is a Realtor Associate with Keller Williams Metropolitan in the Houston Galleria area. He has been a real estate professional for the past ten years and is a long-time Houston resident. Matthew grew up in the Northeast suburbs and has lived within the innerloop area for nearly twenty years. Specializing in the innerloop and other urban communities, along with the suburb of Kingwood, Matthew strives to offer a comprehensive experience giving insights into various regions, in order to meet the unique requests of each client.

In describing his client interactions, he explains, "I strive to offer a personal touch to clients who are looking to sell or purchase a new home. Many of my clients are friends or referrals from other friends. I strive to go above and beyond, while always maintaining excellent communication throughout the sales or purchasing process. In my own experience, many real estate agents I have worked with in the past are lacking in that aspect, and I strive to respond to clients' inquiries in a timely manner and work with their varied schedules to see properties or list their homes."

In addition to real estate insights, Matthew likes to offer people an overview of the city he loves, showing new arrivals a view of its history, culture, and diverse food scene.

Matthew is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, where he resided prior to moving to Indonesia and then to Kingwood. He is a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas in the Montrose area, receiving a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science, Masters of Liberal Arts in Communications, and a Masters of Business Administration. During his time at UST, he came to know the city and always endeavored to keep up with the constant changes affecting the city and real estate market, therein.

Before the move to the Houston area, his family lived in various countries overseas, which has offered Matthew an extensive experience working with a diverse clientele and networking base. He relates, "I love the diversity of the Houston area and pride myself on the diversity of my friend group and networking base. With this experience, I have been fortunate to extend this to my client base and thus work well with a variety of personalities and background experiences."

Matthew brings a love of real estate, extending back into his family history. He loves to share this passion with friends and clients and strives to help them purchase, lease or sell their home.
