A seasoned REALTOR® since 1980 and native Houstonian, Mary Glover Rustay is now a Broker Associate with Keller Williams Metropolitan, following her tenure with Heritage Texas Properties, which was recently acquired in 2019 by Better Homes and Gardens Gary Greene Distinctive Properties. Mary's extensive knowledge and love of real estate began when she was a child, learning from her mother and mentor, Mary Wood Glover, a Broker Owner who was active in Houston real estate for 40 years. After Glover's death in 1991, Mary and her brother, Emory Glover, merged their company, Mary Wood Glover, REALTORS®, to form a division of Barrere & Co., REALTORS®, in 1994. Mary chose to join Zarr & Co. in l996. Zarr & Co. soon merged with House Hunters, Inc. to form Heritage Texas Properties in 1999. Having been an owner of her own company in the Rice University area, Mary has enjoyed coming from a small, boutique company to working with Heritage Texas Properties, (led by Brokers Lynn Zarr and Robin Mueck)--the largest independently owned real estate company in Houston. Mary knows Houston real estate and has the utmost respect for Keller Williams Metropolitan, her new company since early 2021 and its leadership.
A top producer in her company,Mary Glover Rustay attributes her success in real estate to her dedication in helping her buyers to realize their dreams. She helps buyers find the “right house for the right price” and is sensitive to the needs of her sellers. By employing aggressive marketing and negotiating with her people skills and creativity, she is able to achieve the best price possible for her clients, bringing the transaction to a successful close!
An experienced real estate professional dedicated to excellence, Mary has listed and sold properties throughout the more established inner loop neighborhoods (including River Oaks--her own residential neighborhood for 33 years) and the neighborhoods surrounding RO--i.e.--Avalon Place, Afton Oaks, Oak Estates, Royden Oaks, Highland Village, Montrose and Lynn Park. Also included in her sales areas are West University, Southside Place, Southgate, Southampton, Braes Heights, Ayrshire, Braeswood Place, Linkwood, Knollwood, and Woodside. The prime outer loop neighborhoods in and around Tanglewood, the Galleria corridor, the Memorial corridor, Meyerland, Bellaire, Willow Meadows, Willowbend, close-in Westbury and Parkwest, and much more of west and southwest Houston. Also she has sold homes throughout neighborhoods north of I10 in the Greater Houston Heights, the Woodlands, and many other locations.
Experienced in relocation, Mary is knowledgeable about the many outlying planned communities for which Houston is so well known. As Houston has experienced a recent renaissance of building and unparalleled growth inside the loop 610, in Midtown, the Heights, Southwest Houston and all the surrounding market areas where homes are in such high demand due to low inventory, Mary has been active both in the resale market and in new construction, representing buyers, sellers, and builders in areas such as Clear Lake, Pearland, Sugarland, Greatwood and New Territory, Katy, Cypress and The Woodlands.
Mary is active both in the resale market and new construction, representing builders, buyers, and sellers. Mary’s dedication to her client's needs has brought her repeated referrals from satisfied customers and loyal clients.
