Markeith Spears has built his career around one thing: creating results through leadership, strategy, and relationships.

A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Markeith began his professional journey in the energy industry with Reliant Energy as a Power Consultant. His ability to connect with people, solve problems, and perform under pressure quickly elevated him into the ranks of the company’s top performers.

Following energy deregulation and the creation of CenterPoint Energy, Markeith spent six years overseeing infrastructure development for some of Houston’s fastest-growing master-planned communities, including Shadow Creek Ranch and Sienna Plantation. Managing large-scale residential development projects sharpened his expertise in negotiations, construction oversight, timelines, and relationship management while giving him firsthand insight into the growth of the Houston real estate market.

He later joined Perry Homes as a Project Manager, where he supervised the construction of homes ranging from 2,000 to more than 8,000 square feet. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to quality, Markeith built a reputation for delivering projects on time while maintaining high construction standards.

In 2011, Markeith transitioned into residential real estate, combining his background in construction, development, and business operations into a unique advantage for his clients. His impact was immediate. He quickly became a Top Producer, earning recognition year after year from 2012 through 2017 for his sales performance and leadership within the industry.

By 2016, his passion expanded beyond personal production into coaching and leadership. Markeith moved into real estate management, where he began mentoring, recruiting, and developing agents into top-performing professionals. His leadership journey eventually led him to Keller Williams Premier Realty in 2021, where he currently serves as Team Leader and Manager.

Today, Markeith is known not only for his industry knowledge and leadership but also for his ability to inspire growth in others. With deep experience in construction, new home development, sales, and agent coaching, he brings a rare perspective to the real estate industry.
