Lee graduated and earned her BA from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Teaching Certification from the University of Texas in Austin. She loves being a wife to Grant Fortney and Mom to her two daughters. Lee has always been very active in her family life. She has enjoyed volunteering and contributing to her community, especially within the schools that her daughters attended in Piney Point and in Bellaire, Texas. Lee attends St. Francis Episcopal Church and she is a Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Club member. In addition to working as a Realtor, Lee and her husband and daughters enjoy traveling to Colorado each summer to enjoy family time together. Her interests also include tennis, baking and cooking, reading, snow-skiing, aerobics, yoga, and regaining her fluency in French and Spanish.
