For over 25 years, Kirsten Abney's consummate business skills have made her an extremely effective and successful leader across a broad spectrum of industries. Kirsten's background includes national and international success with three Fortune 500 companies in HR outsourcing, information technology, financial services, and healthcare. However, she is most strongly identified with residential real estate and relocation, having been a top-producing agent before moving into a chain of leadership positions, including senior vice president, with a major Houston real estate company.

When Kirsten made the decision to leave the corporate world, she chose to go into real estate sales. "My diverse business career helps me to establish trust and rapport with clients from all backgrounds," she says. "I have relocated seven times, to Dallas, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, London, New York City, and Houston, and have run several divisions for one of the largest residential real estate companies in Houston, so I relate especially well to clients throughout all aspects of making a move."

The real estate transaction process is very detailed and Kirsten has a keen eye for detail. She approaches her work in a thorough, hands-on manner and is able to distill and manage the process in a seamless way from contract to close. Kirsten loves learning about and really getting to know the people she works with. "I find my clients stories are fascinating and also provide a great understanding of a client's real estate needs and desires."

Kirsten grew up in West Texas and graduated from Texas A & M University. She has lived in several Houston inner- Loop neighborhoods, including the River Oaks and West University areas, and resides currently in the Meyerland area. Professionally, she has held important positions on boards and advisory councils related to real estate and relocation and has often been asked to speak at industry-related conferences. When her schedule permits, Kirsten travels, gardens, and cooks, and especially enjoys trying new restaurants. She adores her four young nephews and tries to see them as often as possible.
