Measuring 17 1/2' x 17', this kitchen affords one everything imaginable. Dual sinks, instant hot water, a 30" Thermador refrigerator, 24" Thermador freezer and matching dishwasher are just a few of the amenities worth noting.
Located underneath the Taj Mahal quartzite island is a microwave drawer. Undercabinet lighting illuminates the custom tile from Pomo+ADR while the perfect window gives you views of the jogging trail on 'The Boulevard' as if you were people watching passersby on the Champs-Élysées.
The 48" Thermador Professional range with matching venthood complete the state-of-the-art appliance package found in this perfect kitchen. Spice drawers, an abundance of storage drawers and endless cabinets never leave you yearning for more space.
The prep sink at the island is ideal for the sous chef in the family. Just to the left of the refrigerator/freezer towers is the entry into the butler's bar.

Another perspective of the butler's bar from the vantage point of the entry hall shows how it perfectly acts as the axis between the kitchen and formal dining room.
From the entry hall, heading towards the foyer, adjacent to the front door you will find the climatized wine room behind the iron door and the formal dining to the right of that. Notice the limestone stair treads and risers, yet another custom detail that separates this home from others.
The formal dining possesses a 12' tray ceiling with multiple layers of crown molding as well as a six-light metal & glass chandelier with a large window overlooking Tanglewood Boulevard.
From this angle, you can see seating for eight leaves plenty of room to add an additional leaf to exand for a larger dinner party as the room measures 17' in length.
The small door to the left of the mahogany front door houses a concealed storage closet and mail drop. The iron door on the right opens to the climatized and securable wine room.
Boastiing capacity of approximately 568 bottles, even the most enthusiastic of oenophiles will be perfectly happy with the abundance of storage for a few 750mL containers of their favorite fermented grapes.
Looking back towards the entry hall, the stairs to the right are one of three options to deliver you to the second floor, while those with mobility concerns can call for the elevator. Just beyond the console table to the right is the art gallery that leads you to the formal living room.
The second of two fireplaces is found in the parlor to the right. The powder bath located at the end of the hall is one of three bathrooms found on the first floor.
Measuring 18 1/2' x 14', the formal living currently houses a baby grand piano and fine antiques but could easily be repurposed for a gaming table should an enthusiastic mahjong or chess player reside in the home. The wood stained cased entry to the left opens to the study.
The wood stained groin vault ceiling offers the perfect amount of formality for this handsome home office. French doors close off sound from the family room while a massive, arched window overlooks the front lawn.
The 15 1/2' x 14 1/2' study has wood stain accents to provide additional warmth to the room. Custom built-in cabinetry is at your disposal with a 180 degree spin of your chair.

The downstairs master suite is truly, a suite. With 17' in depth and 24 1/2' feet from left to right, the architecture utilized for the design of the room doesn't make it feel cavernous. The contraction of space just before the French doors that lead to the heated pool provides a perfect home for a chaise lounge or settee.
The view looking back from the reading niche shows the expansiveness of the room. The center door leads to the lavatory and wardrobe.
Octagonal in design, the 18' x 15' master bathroom offers a tremendous amount of functionality with dual stone vanities, a center dressing table and large walk-in shower. Just beyond the bi-fold doors is the master closet.
The mirror and seated bench act as a symmetrical room divide for this 20' x 12' closet. Clerestory windows give a closet underappreciated natural light while not compromising privacy. And with the soaring ceiling height, should the most fashionable of society elect to live here, one could easily remove the overhead shelving and add additional pull-down hanging rods which would increase wardobe capacity by 50%.
Stepping out of the wardrobe closet, back into the bathroom, you will see the air tub to the right with the private water closet behind the closed door.
While freestanding tubs may allow one to enjoy elegant lines, they lack the functionality of maintaining warmth. This hydrotherapy tub sits within a tubdeck that helps to insulate the hot water from the ambient room temperature, thus avoiding the need to constantly drain and refill your tub to achieve the optimal degree for your water.
Stepping back into the master bedroom from the master bath shows the French doors on the opposite end that deliver you to the fully-gated backyard and saltwater pool.
From this angle just outside of the vestibule that delivers you to the master suite, you will find yourself back in the family room with French doors leading you to the covered veranda.
The northeast facing 21' x 14' covered veranda is located just off of the living room and overlooks the backyard and pool. Dual ceiling fans help to circulate the air on the days of summer.
Custom designed by Friendswood Pools to emulate fountains such as those sprinkled in French palaces or the lavish residences of Aix-en-Provence, this heated, saltwater pool also features a water fall cascading off of the stone ledge to the right.
The pool measures approximately 30' in length and 17' in width and also affords the owner with a 9' x 5 1/2' spa with bench seating. The pool was designed to be able to enjoy the southern rays of the sun peering over the tile roof while the covered veranda, facing northeast, is able to avoid any direct sun.
With 21' in width, the covered veranda has the space to allow for seating on one side and a 36" gas grill and adjacent sink along the opposite wall that gives you the opportunity to prepare aromatic meals. A mosquito misting system also assists in creating an ambiance that is free of pests. Immediately to the right of the sink is the door that opens to the 12' x 5 1/2' cabana bath with walk-in shower, sink and commode.
Stepping back into the home from the veranda's French doors and one can easily see how well the living area is expanded to incorporate both conditioned and seasonal spaces while entertaining numerous guests.

To help ensure the ideal amount of privacy between bedrooms, this elegant star landing was designed to meet the needs for both form and function. The upstairs game room is just beyond the 'Union Station' inspired clock.
Approximately 33' wide and 20' in depth, this upstairs lounge gives the opportunity for numerous possibilities. Here you can see a full-size pool table, air hockey table and seating for six are capable without any sense of having too much furniture for the room.
This secondary bedroom is 16' x 12' with south facing casement windows overlooking the front lawn. To the left of the bed is an ensuite bath measuring 11' x 5'.
Located on the southeast corner of the home is this 16' x 15' bedroom, also with an ensuite bath and walk-in closet to the left of the bed.

Here is another angle of the upstairs game room with a built-in entertainment center to house all of your audio/visual needs. The door at the far end is an additional storage closet for recreational items. The hallway leading to the elevator, wet bar, media room and rear stairs is to the right of the storage closet.
Bring the popcorn and grab a drink from the undercabinet beverage refrigerator before walking into the media room to enjoy your favorite film.
Film projection, surround sound audio, ambient theater lighting and an a/v closet are all amenities found in the 17 1/2' x 15' media room. Should one not desire a home theater, it is easy to transform this into the sixth bedroom by converting the a/v closet into a wardrobe closet.
Another secondary bedroom, this one on the west side of the home, measures 16' x 12' and has an ensuite bath with 8 1/2' x 5 1/2' walk-in closet.
