About Joel Bickley

Prior to finding his true career passion in real estate, Joel Bickley spent more than a decade honing his customer service and marketing skills in the financial industry as a financial analyst with Smith Barney and in the Private Club industry in Member Relations and Membership Sales. After purchasing his first home, Joel realized he wanted to help others through the experience. After obtaining his salespersons licenses in 2002, Joel went to work for a local boutique real estate firm which specialized in new construction within the prestigious "Inner Loop" of Houston, Texas. Joel's level of customer dedication and follow-up quickly led to him joining the firm's team of Developer Consultants. He worked closely with developers to assist them with land acquisition, design and finish-out of future developments, and the eventual marketing and sales of the property. This position allowed Joel to work hand-in-hand with buyers and other real estate agents, assisting them through the entire purchasing process, often starting in the pre-construction phases. In 2006, Joel seamlessly made the transition from Developer Consultant to Condominium Sales Specialist, where he joined a national Sales and Marketing team, handling the sales of a luxury condominium community in heart of the Houston Galleria area. A short time later, Joel was recruited by another national Sales and Marketing Team for a new, luxury high-rise condominium community located in the Texas Medical Center of Houston. During that time, Joel obtained his brokers licenses and took on many roles: sales associate, sponsoring broker for the office, and as co-manager for the licensed sales staff. In 2010, after four years of working exclusively on-site handling condominium sales, Joel was one of the first agents to join Douglas Elliman, a new Houston real estate firm specializing in luxury new construction homes.
