Joan attended Southern Methodist University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston. Joan and her family are members of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, and she enjoys supporting the local arts community, Buffalo Bayou Partnership, various local animal rescue groups, and The Art League of Houston. Joan's imagination and eye for detail and design have been developed throughout her life as artist, including during her previous career as a professional painter and sculptor when she was represented in galleries throughout the country. Her interests outside of real estate include traveling with her family, oil painting, gardening and, most importantly, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
