Jessica was born and raised in Houston. She graduated from
Memorial High School and then went off to get her Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology from Baylor University. She moved back to town and now resides in
the Lindale Park area.  It was during her
time working at the Mosaic on Hermann Park, a luxury high-rise condominium
development, that this top producing Broker decided to put her
contract-to-closing experience to work and pursue her Realtor®'s license. Fast
forward fifteen years, and she has not only achieved incredible success, but
she now owns and operates a property management company, McMgmt., LLC, and her own
team, the HTX Living Group, under Compass in the Heights. The team is different
from any other group at Compass with the fact that it operates within its very
own office off N. Main on the East side of Houston Heights.

She was recognized by the Houston Association of Realtors® as
a Top 20 Under 40 Rising Star and her success as an agent has translated to big
accomplishments with her team as well. While at KW Memorial, her team was
honored for 1st place in gross closed income and 2nd
place for both listing volume and closed units. As a Baylor University
graduate, she smartly carved a unique niche for herself as an estate property
sales expert early in her career. After working as a licensed assistant for a
top producer at Martha Turner Properties, she built strong relationships with
probate and estate planning attorneys, certified public accountants, and financial
advisors by billing herself as the "Queen of Probate." Doing so allowed her to
gain footing in the more luxury-type neighborhoods early on.

After 1.5 years at Tammy Bateman Properties, a smaller, local
brokerage, Jessica decided to make a move with her team and open her own
boutique firm, HTX Living, LLC in 2017. The reputation that she and her
colleagues have established precedes them, and she believes this is because
they closely monitor contractual deadlines, skillfully manage expectations and remain
in close communication even after executing the transaction. Her hand-selected
agents' experience, as well as their desire to help people find their dream
home, has helped grow the brokerage to be mostly referral based. Clients are getting
the whole team working on their behalf, for the price of one Realtor® ®!

Her strong network with other Houston Realtors® helps when
it comes to knowing what properties will be coming on the market, and when. She
is also deeply engaged with the Houston Association of Realtors® and holds several
designations like the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified
Negotiation Expert, Texas Realtors® Leadership Program and Graduate Realtor®
Institute.

Aside from being an entrepreneur, Jess most importantly
enjoys being a mom to an adorable 8-year-old who attends First Baptist Academy.
They are members of the church there, and her community involvement is mostly
with DAR, the Junior League of Houston and Bel Inizio. She has a passion for
volunteering whenever possible.

She admits that being an entrepreneur in this industry can
be intimidating in addition to empowering, which is why she works so hard to
stand out from the pack. "I want to be the only Realtor® my clients think of when
they need to buy and sell a home, and I want to be the one they refer to their
friends and family for years to come."

As of October of 2024, HTX Living is proud to announce their
new partnership with the #1 Brokerage in America, Compass! This strategic
relationship is meant to help take HTX Living to the next level when it comes
to their client's experience with each transaction, through the invaluable
marketing expertise & technology that Compass offers. Not only will their clients
benefit from this alliance, the agents and their careers will too. Now, more
than ever, their agents are equipped with the tools needed to advise their
clients on their investments, as they navigate the shift coming in the Houston
market. HTX Living Group looks forward to growing as an even more successful
team these next few years! HTX Living is still boutique and very much local. But
now, the brand can have national reach & far more support to do what they
do best, sell real estate!
