“This was the second home of ours that Gabrielle sold and we had multiple offers within hours of the open house. The listing showed that the home was on the market for three days but that isn’t exactly accurate. We listed it on a Friday and didn’t allow any showings until the open house on that Saturday. We had multiple offers on day one of showing and only thought it fair to continue showings during the weekend. We had 22 showings on the second day, that Sunday and gave a deadline for final offers to come in that evening. My wife and I choose the best offer, and it wasn’t the highest bid. We choose it based on how the offer was packaged and the transparency and enthusiasm of the buyers.
